Labyrinth walks are offered at St Mary’s under the guidance of the Revd Bernard Moss, a trained labyrinth facilitator.
Our labyrinth walks symbolise the twists and turns of an earthly journey dedicated to the glory of God. You are invited, therefore, to walk the labyrinth as an act of devotion, penitence, faith and hope. Its twists and turns can represent your journey of faith, or your journey towards faith, with its high points and low moments; your times of faithfulness, thankfulness and celebration, and the occasions when you have let yourself, others and God down.
It can represent the journey into the unknown, based on one absolute certainty that God is with us every step of the way. If you prefer, there are also available some wooden Finger Labyrinths to let your fingers do the walking!
Revd Bernard will lead our next Labyrinth walk on Sunday afternoon 12th March from 2.30 until 5 p.m. This will be followed by our monthly Candlelit Communion.
