Services

Our principal Sunday service is at 10.30 a.m. and is a Eucharist or Holy Communion.  We are an inclusive church of a catholic tradition and always welcoming of children, families and individuals of all ages. We have a wonderful Willis organ and an excellent robed choir in normal times.  We use Hymns Old and New and as the title suggests we try to blend contemporary with traditional music.  Our new audio/visual equipment allows us to play recordings of hymns and music, and to livestream services on YouTube. The service is followed by refreshments served in church which is a lovely way for folks to catch up with one another and also to greet newcomers and visitors.  There are special services and events associated with the major church festivals and these are shown on our Calendar.

There are toilets and baby changing facilites and carers of very young children who need an escape during the service may retreat to the West Room - this has glass doors enabling folks to still feel a part of the service.

On Thursday mornings we hold a BCP service of Holy Communion at 10.30.am. This service includes readings from the King James Bible and a short homily.
